How can I compare indicator cards from two different areas

If you'd like to compare different areas in a story, here's a checklist of what's needed:

  1. Do you have at least 1 story? If not, create a  Story from scratch or Run a Report. Please the related articles: “What’s a Story and how can I edit it?” and “How do I run a report?”.
  2. Do you have at least 1 data card saved in that story? If not, save a card to the story.
  3. Do you have at least 2 areas created? If not, create a new area.

How to Compare 2 Areas

First, you'll want to select which Data Cards should go in your comparison story. When you find the Data Card you'd like to add to the story, click on the SAVE CARD icon at the bottom of the card (a plus sign with three lines.) This will create a drop-down list of places where a card can be saved. Once you've checked your save location, click Save.

Repeat the process with the other areas you'd like to compare until you have added all the Data Cards you'd like to view in your story. In Shuffle Mode, you can move each Data Card to compare directly.

Then, replace the Area tags at the bottom of each card.

The final result is a side-by-side comparison.
